TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Few brokers in this bracket have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
