Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

Platforms

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both matters. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
